O tão temido e esperado 1º SKYPE.

Se é que alguém ainda lê isso aqui, aliás a linda da Clau, passou por aqui esses dias e me inspirou a escrever e também porque rolou novidades!
Bom para resumir um pouquinho, estou online há 3 meses, e passaram 3 famílias pelo meu APP, uma delas marcou o aterrorizante skype, rs. Ele estava marcado para sábado, (13) às 18h30, treinei um pouco, com algumas perguntas que a Helen Mesquita (que me ajuda muito) enviou. Porém, a family linda não apareceu, fiquei bem chateada, mas mandei um e-mail carinhoso remarcando e as 20hrs o meu skype começou a tocar, sim eu entrei em desespero, mas a Host foi muito fofa e paciente com o meu nível de inglês e conversamos em torno de 1h30, conheci as kids e o Host também, parecem ser muito tranquilos. Ela me fez perguntas básicas, como o que eu faria com as crianças, o que os meus pais achavam do intercâmbio, se eu me adaptaria com o frio, coisas assim. Eu fiquei nervosa, gaguejei e pedi para repetir e digitar inúmeras vezes, mas consegui. Como foi o primeiro skype e ainda estamos conversando, não posso dizer nem que sim, nem que não. Abaixo as questões que estudei (claro que na hora a conversa fluí, mas é bom ter algo em mente):

Estava com um medo tremendo de postar meu vídeo aqui, e ter que mudar alguma coisa, porque gravar foi a parte mais difícil, mesmo sendo Jornalista, sem vergonha nenhuma, gravar em inglês me fez travar muito. Mas como eu já disse inúmeras vezes, quem está na chuva é para se molhar, e as críticas também serão bem vindas:

Hey girls,

Etapa iTep concluída com sucesso! Realizei o teste no dia 14/12/2012 e o resultado saiu no dia 19/12/2012, fiquei como intermediário baixo, o que foi bom no meu caso, uma vez que não quero que as famílias se enganem comigo. HAHAHA.
Como toda aspirante a Au Pair, quando marquei o teste comecei a procurar o que e como estudar, recebi bastante dicas, além de, me tranquilizarem dizendo que era super moleza. Eis que a neguinha aqui, estudou MESMO, um dia antes do teste. Bora para luta com cara, coragem e fé, muita fé. Esperei a agência ficar quase vazia, sentei no computador e manda bala, algumas perguntas rápidas de múltipla escolha, da qual eu não tinha conhecimento mas foi tranquilo, depois 2 perguntas um pouco mais demoradas de listening que as meninas já tinham me dito que poderiam cair, depois o meu maior pesadelo o speaking, na primeira pergunta você tem 30 segundos para elaborar a respota e 45 segundos para responder, a segunda você tem 45 segundos para elaborar a resposta e 60 segundos para responder. A dona Renata Ribeiro já havia me avisado que era bom falar bastante, porque os 60 segundos ficam correndo e no teste vai ficar um espaço em silêncio gigante, e quem disse que ouvi? Fui o mais objetiva possível, e deixei um tempão em silêncio, tá ai o resultado dona Sara Luma, intermediate (low)

E o inglês?

Voltei, meu processo está cheio de altos e baixos, mas Deus a cada minuto me mostra que eu devo seguir em frente e é isso que faço. "Crescer com as dificuldades".

Eu leio muitos blogs (acho que todas que estamos nesse processo) e recentemente um deles me fez desesperar, pois é, um simples vídeo de uma conversa com a Kid, porém o inglês (para mim) é absurdamente bom, fora a dificuldade que senti para entender. Daí o BUM, como eu vou morar em outro país sem conseguir ao menos me comunicar?

Mas quem está na chuva é pra se molhar, como diz o ditado, não é? Então bora arregaçar as mangas e partir para a luta, mais precisamente para os estudos, porque infelizmente eu não vou acordar com inglês nativo.

Na hora do desespero a gente recorre até para entidades não identificadas (rs), e graças a Deus existem muitas almas boas nessa aventura, além de me tranquilizarem e enviaram um documento para estudar o iTep também recebi dicas de professores particulares, sites e etc. Então objetivo traçado, 1º estudar para o iTep (para não colocar a carroça na frente dos bois né?), 2º Professor particular (além das aulas que já tenho durante a semana) e 3º Listening (o mínimo é entender o que as pessoas dizem, rs).

Bom para aqueles que possuem o mesmo e aterrorizante problema que o meu, deixem o e-mail que eu passo o documento para o estudo do iTep e o contato da Professora Particular (voltada para Au Pairs).

Hello Dear Host Family,

My name is Sara Cassemiro, I have 22 old, I am graduate in journalism and currently work in a company of Telecommunication in area of the Marketing. I am born in Brazil in Vitória da Conquista – Bahia, but I grew up in São Paulo – Capital, a big city, a lot stirred and a little expensive. The center of business and good restaurants, known as land of drizzle, I like living here.

I am an only daughter, my father‘s name is Luiz Antonio, he is truck driver. He works hard to ensure good quality of life for us, my father is a serious person, but very loving and always is present in all times of the my life. My mother’s name Sandra Cassemiro, she work at home, cares very well of us and is always worried in keep good customs. She is my partner and best friend, always showing me the best way and allows me to make responsible choices. We are small family, but, very loving and funny. We had dinner together every day ,this is our sacred moment! We also meet frequently with our family in partys, travel, Christmas  and New Year.

From 9 to 14 years I studied theater, to improve communication body, this was very important for my development, with aged 16, I decided it would help at home, having my own money and started working on Children's Buffet, as monitors Recreation , a wonderful activity, monitoring children from 2 to 13 years and it was really amazing. I had the pleasure to play with them. Among the activities were conducted competitions to work motor coordination and integration of the child, face painting, balloon sculpture workshop and accompanying minor children in toys, such as maze and ferris wheel. The party usually lasts 4 hours and used to be from Wednesday to Sunday, sometimes two parties a day. I worked for two years and after I joined the Faculty was difficult to maintain routine Buffet.

Then a neighbor asked me to take care of her son, Kevin, who was then four years, from that moment I decided that somehow unite my studies to work with children, writing a book on child behavior or documentary. Kevin took care of during the week, the time that parents were working, he is a child with a lot of energy and very intelligent, our routine was very busy with tours in nearby parks, football games and video game. This study lasted six months, some time later, the mother of Kevin asked me to take care of her younger sister on the weekend, and I accepted. The Cecilia at the time also had four years,But I took care of her only on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning so that the mother could work, Cissa as it is called by everyone, is a very loving child, he liked playing with dolls and ballet, when 7 years old he joined a dance company and capoeira, I took her and sought. I took care of Cecilia September/2011 up when I had to leave it because I needed the internship in journalism, she keep in touch with Kevin and his entire family to this day, I learned a lot from them, are my treasures!

I consider myself a very caring, fun, helpful and responsible manners thanks to my creation. Working with children fascinated me, understand them, teach and learn from them is a magnificent experience and when we work with pleasure, the work becomes rewarding. I also have enough energy and practical activities such as swimming, cycling and handball. I extend this to 18 years and just love, traveling, going home friends, shopping, orphanages and drive away.

I want to be an Au Pair because I believe that this exchange will add significant value to my growth and my goals in developing a good job with children, and the opportunity to experience a new culture and learn from it. I am a person with ease in adaptation and this experience will surely only add positive things for the rest of my life, I'm willing to give myself and show my best for you.
